【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoverstheproceduresforpreparation,testingandusingtheacidicaqueousferrousammoniumsulfatesolutiondosimetrysystemtomeasureabsorbeddosetowaterwhenexposedtoionizingradiation.Thesystemconsistsofadosimeterandappropriateanalyticalinstrumentation.ThesystemwillbereferredtoastheFrickesystem.Itisclassifiedasareference-standarddosimetrysystem(seeISO/ASTM51261).1.2ThepracticedescribesthespectrophotometricanalysisproceduresfortheFrickedosimeter.1.3Thispracticeappliesonlytogammarays,x-rays(bremsstrahlung),andhigh-energyelectrons.1.4Thispracticeappliesprovidedthefollowingaresatisfied:1.4.1Theabsorbeddoserangeshallbefrom20to400Gy(1).1.4.2Theabsorbed-doseratedoesnotexceed106Gys1(2).1.4.3Forradioisotopegamma-raysources,theinitialphotonenergyisgreaterthan0.6MeV.Forx-rays(bremsstrahlung),theinitialenergyoftheelectronsusedtoproducethephotonsisequaltoorgreaterthan2MeV.Forelectronbeams,theinitialelectronenergyisgreaterthan8MeV(seeICRUReports34and35).Note18212;Thelowerenergylimitsgivenareappropriateforacylindricaldosimeterampouleof12-mmoutsidediameter.Correctionsfordosegradientsacrossanampouleofthatdiameterorlessarenotrequired.1.4.4Theirradiationtemperatureofthedosimetershouldbewithintherangeof10to60C.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
