【摘要】:ThispartofISO13317describesamethodusingapipettetodetermineparticlesizedistribution,typicallyinthesizerange1urnto100μm,bygravitationalsedimentationinaliquid.NOTEThispartofISO13317mayinvolvehazardousmaterialsoperationsandequipment.ThispartofISO13317doesnotpurporttoaddressallthesafetyproblemsassociatedwithitsuse.ItistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthispartofISO13317toestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityoftheregulatorylimitationspriortoitsuse.ThemethodofdeterminingtheparticlesizedistributiondescribedinthispartofISO13317isapplicabletopowderswhichcanbedispersedinliquidsorpowderswhicharepresentinslurryform.Themethodisapplicabletopowdersmadeupofparticleshavingthesamedensityandofcomparableshape.Particlesshouldnotundergoanychemicalorphysicalchangeinthesuspensionliquid.Itisnecessarythattheparticleshaveadensityhigherthanthatoftheliquid.
