【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedtosimulatetheslipofaflexiblewebonarollerinamachineortribosystemthatconveyswebmaterials.Flexiblewebssuchasplasticsheeting,paper,elastomers,metalfoils,andclothareoftentransportedinmanufacturingprocessesbycombinationsofdrivingandidlerrollers.Thefrictioncharacteristicsoftheweb/rollerinterfaceoftenaffectsthewebtransportprocess.Iftheweb/rollerfrictionistoolow,thewebcanslipontherollersandbedamagedordamagetheroller.Highfrictionontheotherhand,canleadtosteeringproblemsandoverloadingofdrivingmotors.Thistestmethodcanbeusedtorankrollersfortheirabilitytoresistslipversusaparticularwebmaterial(highfriction).Converselythistestmethodcanassesswebmaterialsorwebsurfacecoatingssuchaswaxesandlubricants.Inthislattercase,thegoalmaybealow-frictionproductmadefromaweb(film,magneticmedia,paper,andsoforth).Ifatribosysteminvolvestransportofaflexiblewebonaroller,thisisanappropriatetesttousetomeasurethefrictioncharacteristicsoftheroller/webcouple.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthesimulationofaroller/webtransporttribosystemandthemeasurementofthestaticandkineticcoefficientoffrictionoftheweb/rollercouplewhenslidingoccursbetweenthetwo.Theobjectiveofthistestmethodistoprovideuserswithweb/rollerfrictioninformationthatcanbeusedforprocesscontrol,designcalculations,andforanyotherfunctionwhereweb/rollerfrictionneedstobeknown.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
