【摘要】:Thistestmethoddeterminesandstandardizesanunextendedandextendedcapacityforbackpacksandrelatedbags.Relatedbagsincludelumbarpacks,softrucksacks,internalandexternalframepacks,duffelbags,andtravelpacks.Thistestmethodisdesignedtoprovideameanswherebymanufacturersandconsumersmayhaveaconsistentmeanstocomparepackvolumes.Thistestmethoddoesnottakeintoconsiderationareasofthebackpackthatarenotcompletelyenclosedbyfabricsuchasmeshpockets,waterbottleholders,andcompressorpockets.Forpracticalpurposesthistestmethodcannotbeusedtomeasurecapacitieslessthan4L.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
