【摘要】:Theserequirementscoverelectricallyoperatedhouseholdclockshavinganinputratingofnotmorethan30wattsand250voltstobeusedinordinaryindoorlocationsinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode,NFPA70.Theserequirementsdonotcoverclocksintendedprimarilyforindustrialorcommercialinstallations,clocksthatformpartofamasterclocksystem,outdoorclocks,timestamps,jobcardrecorders,timers,andsimilartime-indicatingandrecordingappliances,nordotheycoverilluminatedclocksintendedforuseasportableelectriclampsorforotherilluminatingpurposes.Aproductthatcontainsfeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsnewordifferentfromthosecoveredbytherequirementsinthisstandard,andthatinvolvesariskoffireorofelectricshockorinjurytopersonsshallbeevaluatedusingappropriateadditionalcomponentandend-productrequirementstomaintainthelevelofsafetyasoriginallyanticipatedbytheintentofthisstandard.Aproductwhosefeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsconflictwithspecificrequirementsorprovisionsofthisstandarddoesnotcomplywiththisstandard.Revisionofrequirementsshallbeproposedandadoptedinconformancewiththemethodsemployedfordevelopment,revision,andimplementationofthisstandard.
